So dumb question about a MBC and tuning

So I have self tuned my car adjust the timing new fuel pump uicp and licp got perfect A/F ratios tightened up the car made it more snappy with 0 counts of knock so now it's time to start adding boost I have decided I want to go with a MBC for ease of simplicity of it all.

Now I know I will have to returned my full and timing maps but is there anything done with the boost maps when running a MBC or are those bypassed pretty much like the fail safes and all that I know you leave the stock boost controller plugged in guessing for no SES but no hoses run to it.
I was just curious if hadn't really seen anything on this

The only table you would need to still tune is the boost limit which is a load based table.

You should run a 3 port for better boost control. It's not that much harder to tune.

Simplicity and here in Oregon we don't have massive temp swings most of the year I might go with a aem tru-boost over a standard MBC

By better boost control I mean you can adjust wastegate duty cycle every 250-500rpm depending on how you set up the WGDC table. So you can better control the low end boost spike, while still getting the turbo to hold more boost out above 5500-6k. And you're using tephra V7 ROM, you have boost-by-gear.
