Overspray -- How do you get it off?

Hey guys and gals,

So, my car was recently at a shop getting inspected and getting some maintenance done to it and apparently when I got the car back, I noticed this on the front driver fender, hood, and windshield. (Sorry if its hard to see)

It looks like overspray.... Or could be outside elements.. Pretty sure its overspray, tried using a pressure washer to get it off, but it didn't come off. Does anyone have an idea on how to get this off. As usual, any advice would be very helpful, thanks.

You can use fine grit steel wool to clean the windows.

The body panels will need clay barred and polished.

There's been several times I've had cars hit with over spray when parked at places where they were spray painting outside. The thing is, unless the surface is properly prepared the paint won't be permanent. Paint is not going to stay on a waxed car. I have had to razor blade my Evo windshield in order to see.

Wash, Clay, and polish

You can try just a quick detailed but doubtful it'll work and you'll likely try and run to hard causing more scratches and marring.

I would definitely pay a professional to take care of this. I also wouldn't ask the shop to pay for it, because they'll they're "guy" do it and it'll probably just get ****ed up.

A good 3-step detail for $200-$300 should fix it up fine. Wash, Clay-bar, polish, apply sealant/wax.
