on glass you can use a razor blade if you have the time to sit there and do it, or there is a rubbing compound that is for windows and stuff... look in your pep boys or whatnot in the aisle with the windshield wiper blades etc... as for the plastic.. maybe goo gone? shouldnt harm the plastic I dont think, but I never tried

use nail polish remover .. make sure u only do it to the windows and headlights.. thats what i did when i spray painted and a gust of wind blew it on my rear window.... or when i had eyelids and the paint behind it wasnt dry and i placed them on my lights
any other ideas before i start with the clay and nail polish remover. i did use a razor on my front window with a ton of windex got most of it off but just worried about the lights.
Had the same problem with over spray on rear window. Took it back to body shop. He used that clay bar and it scratched the f#@* out of the window. Needs a very light touch. So watch it!

Skip the nail polish remover. You don't want to risk having that polish/paint remover drip/spray/rub against the painted surfaces of your car. And depending on the chemicals in the remover, it will damage the plastic surface of the headlight covers.
Use a clay bar. It'll take the paint right off the lenses without damaging the plastic.
If you have a hard time getting the paint off the glass with the clay, you can rub VERY gently with quadruple 'x' steel wool. This is the finest grain steel wool available. I used this to remove the old overspray from the windows of my 61 Mini and it worked wonderfully. Just make sure you have 'xxxx', and that you rub very gently. Rubbing hard, or using the wrong grade of steel wool will end up in a finely scratched glass surface...
