So I unbolted everything from the upper radiator support bar because I have rust issues and want to repaint it. The radiator overflow tank, the upper bolts on the push fan, hood locking mechanism, the bolts by the fenders everything that is mounted to it and it is not coming out. Are those spot welded in to the lower radiator support? I might just have to mask off everything and paint on the car which I don't want to do

 

clean it up, condition the rust, then spray it.
