4g63 engine stand bolts

Hey everyone, recently picked up a Harbor Freight engine stand for a 4g63 I have. It didn't come with a trans so I don't have the bolts. So I picked up the right thread bolts at if I recall a 50 or 60 length. Seems like once they go through the arms on the stand, they wont go very far into the motor. I am concerned that the weight may break the 1/4 to 1/2 inch that goes in. I have never put a motor on a stand before...is this normal? For those out there who have a similar stand can you recommend or let me know what dimension bolts your using for this?
Thanks guys!

You can use longer bolts with washers, just sure they are the same thread pitch

I've already picked up 2 different lengths, just not sure how far into the motor they need to go to be "safe" I guess is a way of putting it.

I would say more that 1/4, maybe 1/2. Sorry, don't have much more info than that.

It's a 12mm bolt. They need minimum of 12mm of thread engagement.
