Intake adapter plates w/ tuning

Hey guys, I’m just stuck between doing a 4.5 intake adapter plate or a 3 inch adapter plate for the MAF connection on the intake on my evo 8. Just wanted your opinions on if there might be a difference in power when tuning between the two or that really won’t make a difference and is only for connection purposes obviously. Thanks !

Just do speed density and get it over with. The car runs nicer anyways on speed density.

Merged threads. Please don't create a new thread with the same exact question, thanks!

The bottleneck here is going to be the MAF. It merges down to 3" so I dont see much additional power if any to be had going wiht a 4.5" pipe then reducing to 3" for the MAF. If youre concerned about it just convert to SD and call it a day.
