Oil Light Flickering

Hello Everyone,
Hoping that all of you guys are in the best of shape. This is my 1st post , since i just got an EVO 4 today. Prior to taking the delivery of the car i got every thing checked , drove the car multiple amounts of time. But found no major issues with it (besides a small one related to Driver side window switch).

Took the car home today, checked all the fluids . Everything was perfect and new. Went out with family , the car boosted fine (its on stock boost). However the Oil Switch light keeps on flickering , Oil Temperature / Oil pressure / Oil level all were fine. I am posting a video below so that you guys can see the issue and provide some guidance.

Here is the video

The car has an engine from a Mitsubishi AirTrek (engine oil is Liqui Molly 10/40)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Here is another video. Can anyone explain why is the gauge reading like 500-600 kpa at just 1k RPM ? 600kpa is like 87 PSI (5 bar) . Should`nt it be like 2 bar at 1k RPM or so ? here is the video

Started the car again after 1hr or so. Noticed really high pressure at just 1k Rpm again (unless i am reading it wrong may me ??) . Here is another video (oil light still flickers even on a cold start)

flickering oil light typically means your oil pressure sensor is bad.

i dont have a clue about the weird readings on the gauge.
where is the gauge sensor placed?

Thanks buddy for your reply . The issue was very simple. The switch connected to the sender got disconnected and was just hanging in the engine bay , it was grounding it self to any metal causing the light to on and off. I plugged it back in and all is good and dandy now

Here is the video which helped me pointing out where it is (since its my 1st EVO , i got a bit worried)

Hope this thread helps anyone out in future
