ACD Will Not Bleed.. What Size Gauge Adapter to Test?
ACD Will Not Bleed.. What Size Gauge Adapter to Test?
As the title states I simply cannot get my ACD to bleed. I've tried the usual two person key turning throttle down system (worked for me a couple of years ago) and a vacuum pump on the transfer case nipple. The key method does nothing at all, I just see the fluid level in the hose rise and fall a little. The vacuum method just splurts out drops of ATF endlessly. I've had the ACD pump apart three times to ensure it's put together correctly and everything looks fine.
All I can really do at this point is pull it off the car yet again and try to see if I can't get it bled and pressurizing on a bench and then installing it. Does anyone know what size threads I will need for a gauge adapter? Thanks.

The pump kicks on and makes the usual noise for 20 or so seconds before shutting off and giving me the three lights. Not a drop of fluid comes out.
