Multiple problems Desperate...

I had multiple problems with my evo for awhile and stopped investigating because of young kids. I decided to repair it this summer. Thanks to Chatgpt giving me some advice on things to try / repair.

Car symptoms:
- Idle isnt consistent
- Pull Wont reach full boost (only 10 PSI ish)*** See not below
- Got P0300 when going WOT
- Car wont go over 4500RPM at WOT and P0300 come back after each WOT

What I did:
Boost leak test
Cleaned and switched Injectors
Checked Spark plugs gap (22)
Tried to run without EBC (Made around 10 PSI)
Removed EBC, cleaned, tested and put it back
Flashed back my original tune

***I removed Grimmspeed EBC 3 port, cleaned and tested with 9V battery and discovered when I blowed into the port 3, and activated the EBC with 9V battery the air would keep going to port 2. Cleaned it fixed the issue but no air comes from Port 1 (is it normal???)

See logs for BEFORE and AFTER cleaning.

Todo list:
- Change spark plug??

Edit:
List of mods:
Short ram intake
Map Sensor
Boost controller
O2 Housing
Downpipe
Test pipe
Walbro 255lph
Cat back
Intercooler piping short route
Springs and retainers

I looked back at your old posts, did you ever get fresh fuel?

Also, in the Pull after cleaning log, it looks like it reaches about 20psi?

Changed and gapped new spark plug was an ultimate game changer. Only problem now is lack of boost..

Im making 18 psi ish instead of 24.

Ill do another boost leak test, maybe my wastegate is broken? Idk how to test it yet.. Or my EBC..?

You can test the gate by applying regulated air pressure to it and seeing when it opens if you know what the gate is supposed to be. You could also remove the EBC from the system and just run it on gate pressure to see how it works like that as well.

My gut says that something with the EBC is broke or hooked up wrong though.

I'm unsure what my wastegate used to be at. I tried running only on WG and it worked.

Any other test I can do with boost controller to test it? Or the only way is to buy a new one?

You can use a 9v to make sure it opens and closes fine. If that's working, I would look at the diagram again and make sure the lines are right. Past that, you may be looking at something in the wiring or a bad boost solenoid still.

Didnt find much info about how its supposed to work.

***I removed Grimmspeed EBC 3 port, cleaned and tested with 9V battery and discovered when I blow into the port 3, and activated the EBC with 9V battery the air would keep going to port 2. Now ti doesnt go in port 2 nor port 1 anymore. There is absolutely no air going from port 1, is it normal?

Here is a link to grimmspeeds install guide. https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/07...ne_version.pdf

When unpowered, air should go from port 3 to port 2 and when powered, you shouldn't get air from port 3 to port 2.

Based on your test, it sounds like a bad solenoid.

Check for a cracked manifold. Oem manifolds like to crack. If you had boost before and did everything above then its none of that and its either boost leak (which you checked for), or a crack in the manifold, or possible leak or crack in your wg hole where its not holding pressure anymore.
