BLITZ DTT WONT work with keyless system
BLITZ DTT WONT work with keyless system
Man i am upset. I have just installed the Blitz DTT and the keyless wont work . I used the original Blitz harness that came with it specific for Evo 8. The nly wire not connected to anywhere is a white wire that is loose on harness. I read through the forum , it says hks harness is needed. What is the difference , I really dont understand why the original won't work....

Humm sounds like install error.... I didn't even use an Evo harness and it works... Try moving that white wire around in the harness nothing should be loose.
I am running a Blitz FATT which is the same thing only calculates time off ignition not boost... Same wires to install I used a 2G harness becasue nothing else was available when I got my car...

blitz dtt keyless fix
well i solved the problem
while i was trying to re install the top steering cover i knocked the plastic cover of white thingy right behind the ignition.
Apperently that white box have a relay in it that senses (mechanically) the position of the key and then sets the lights and door ajar beep. When i knocked the plastic cover i did not notice that i also dissassembled the mechanism inside the box which is basically the small metal part and two small coils. I had put the metal part but i havent noticed the coils at first, then while i was troubleshooting today i solved the mystery (bling bling two loose coils on my floor mat??). The genious I am quickly re assembled the box and re installed it. Now everything works perfect.
Moral of the story is
Do not install anything at NIGHT.
Unless you have infrared vision or some sort
