Well hooking up a stereo has been the hardest ever to do. I think Mitsu didn't want to make things easy. The little thing in the clear case on the terminal what is it and do i need it. I had to hook my power wire up to it and i am most likely gonna blow it if it is a fuse.

uhhh...its a fuse...

but dont hook your stereo up to it. get a ring connector and just side it over the tightening nut. dont even touch the fuse box.

if you run it off the fused connection,
1. you wont get the proper power you need to run a decently sized system.

2. you risk drawing power from the accessories also off that same connector, and inadvertinely hurting/killing those accessories, its better just to leave the stock system alone and run a new wire.

3. its like a 10 amp fuse. hardly enough for a good amp setup.

4. it doesnt have to ghetto, mine is not, i simply wrapped it back along the stock wires and heat shrinked them with some thick black heatshrink.

The problem I am haveing is connecting it to the battery terminal. the only place to connect it is on the tightening bolt and that fused connection. The size of my connector is pervening me from putting it on the bigger bolt on top. I am not running it off the fused connection. Right now I have it on the tightening bolt but i need to find a better place for it. Anyone have aftermarket battery terminals? Whcih one are the best to get and why? And I want to keep a 10amp fuse on that line. Any terminal that will let me do that would be great.
