Agreed - take him in the hole shot and never look back.

If your still not sure you'll pull him at the end, Get an SAFC, lean it out on top ( 5000rpms to fuel cut ) run race gas and boost 23-25 psi . you'll hit 12.4 - 12.6 @ 110+. since your already been flashed, 11.0-11.2. Still very safe a/f . You"ll need an AFC anyway in the future to fine tune your Evo for special occasions like this if you want to run race gas and bump up the boost.

If not satisfied yet then you'll need cams , upgraded intercooler, injectors. fuel pump ect...

but for $300 its the cheapest way to go faster with the mods you already have.
us posted on the results.

Well cams are cheap relative to any thing else you could do to get more top end I.E. hks turbo kit ,bottom build up stroker kit, port and polish and full head build up with new intake and exaust manifolds.

Cams and gears

Try putting the stock intake back on. It's my understanding that unless your ECU (or management system) is setup to account for the different MAP readings that a non-stock intake will generate, you'll actually end up losing power instead of gaining it.
