driving lights for Evo? Who makes direct replacements? A shop I stopped by tried to sell me ones that I have to rig and switch F-that!! I want to snap/pull/click/install any ideas??? Piaa? The ones in there are H-11 LL 55W from phillips..

 

Some vendors have random H11 bulbs, but a lot EVO's upgraded from these 2 companies.

I can vouch for European Autosport, great bulbs. Also, I don't think PIAA make H11 bulbs in the US. So you'd have to import for them for mucho dinero.

i got a set of H11 hyper white fog light bulbs to match the hid's on e-bay for 35 bucks...

 

Is H11 the size?

What did you guys think of the upgraded HID bulbs? Did it make a big difference in light output, or just change the color?

 

i must be a little late... i never knew there was an upgrade bulb for the HIDs.... what color does it make it and how much? oh, and is it brighter? sorry if these are all dumb questions, i haven't heard of this before

H11 is the type/size of bulb used for EVO's fog lights.

D2S is the type/size of bulb used for EVO's HIDs. I have the upgraded 5800K D2S bulbs installed. There's a few member with pics posted. It emits a radiant purple light as oppose to the yellow light from the stock. The light projected on the road isn't brighter with upgraded bulbs. You can buy upgraded HID's from the link below. It does involve removing the entire front bumper for installation, but there's instruction posted too.

bought h11's from European autosport and they match the hid's very nicely. they had them to my front door in 3 days

 

Nokya makes a good light mix with the stocker HID's
