Great pics! I'd be happier if they were the american version. The purported h.p. and 6 speed is nice to hear again! I'm not so sure I like the wing. I may go wingless and go for the sleeper/less tickets look

 

Each new Evo changes the following exterior items
1. Spoiler
2. Front Bumper
3. Wheels
4. Interior color

Those are the 4 main items i can think of right away

Yes the Evo VII wing "endplates" are canted from the trunk lid outward before turning vertical near the wing. It looks like the new wing endplates are either vertical or even slightly canted inward from the top down.

The pics were probably taken in and around the Nurburgring (sp?) or maybe another racetrack. I dunno

Is that front end different than the one in the Vegas and Autoweek pics? Sure looks like it to me.

Just found it while trawling about. Definately the Nurburgring though.
Personally, I think it's the best looking pic of the 8 yet. Still, the lancer since the 7 always looks like the passanger part is too big for the trunk and hood that goes with it.........
