More EVO VIII Snaps
Kosei Racing K1's are a really light rim for the money. They are pretty common to use for autox and other racing. I actually have a set of 16" K1's that I used for racing. I think they are around 15lb if I remember correctly. They definitely look like K1's..but maybe they are just using those particular rims for testing. I wouldn't mind seeing them on the production Evo though
K1s are very nice & light, but they don't work very well as street wheels. they are just not very durable - like SSR comps etc. but if you are buying a 2nd set of wheels for the track - they rock.
Hi guys!!!...back after a long absence...I had many things goin' on and finally got a home 'puter. Hooby, ChicagoMike, Rax! WhaaaadUP!? Good to see the board's strong as ever.
Good news on the potential for AYC on the 6-speed...Potential anyway. As far as the looks: Yeah, well...I like the 7 much better too, but the general US public was going for all these rounded-cornered-smoothness saloons when they were designing it, I'm sure. It's not THAT bad...c'mon! If we didn't have the 7 for comparison we'd be much more contented, I'm sure. Nice work everyone, getting those pics all over the place!!
Got rid of my POS '87 Mazda 626 (rusted and crashed and tranny failing badly) for a '92 Black MX3 V6---bolted on a cold-air intake and 2.5" cat-back flow-through exhaust. Moves ok..sort of...nothing to write home about but for a couple of grand and some change, it'll do for a back-up vehicle when the Evo's getting mods, etc.
Good to see you guys still drooling!

The 6 was the best looking one in my opinion. But hey if its got the performance who cares right?
