Moderators are so one sided. It RRREEEEAAAAALLLLYYYY is sad. Calling the whole thread as sad because of the last 5 posts.

 

imho: to heck with U.S. 5mph crash safty regulations. bring evo 6 to America and I will buy one of them.

 

I wish we would get the raw power and handling of the 6 as well.
Too bad that car would never fly over here due to so many regualtions. I guess we can always dream.

Good point. The way the 8 is looking (pun) I think I just might look into getting a j-spec 7 instead as well. Too bad my budget is only 32k or less.

what I was saying here is...have your opinion...say it...hell I thoroughly encourage people having opinions. I call cars ugly too...I hate the way the Aztec looks, but would I go up to an adult who bought it and spout off profain words about how gross it is....no. I don't encourage that.

here's yet another analogy...

You invest a fairly large sum of $$$ into the stock market into what you think is a very sound, wise, and stable company. The company shows gains for the first week or so. The next day you talk to a friend who considers him/herself to be a knowledgable person as far as the market goes. He/She tells you that she's seen that stock and calls you a stupid SOB for even thinking about investing in that company.

Chances are, you're going to be a little angry at your friend, not to mention feeling pretty insecure about the decision that you've made, despite the gains in the stock.

I'm still not mad at anyone...despite the personal attacks that have been thrown my way. You all most certainly have the right to your opinions, I'm not debating that. What I am debating is the lack of tact used when stating your opinion. This can be seen not only in the attacks on the car, but also in the attacks on me personally. In all seriousness ladies and gentlemen....I have no issues with anybody stating their opinion....I love hearing people's opinions, as long as they are at least a little tactful.

I am DONE with this thread...I'm totally with Mark on this one, it has turned into one sad SAD piece of work, with that being partially my fault I guess.

I'm sick of threads being hijacked by know-alls, who seem to let think the power of hiding behind a screen gives them the right to bore everyone else to tears...........

 

hooby.....i think you are just dancing on the minefield when you keep trying to justify yourself. you should not have posted just to as cannyboy said, "catfight", with the people who you were having a disagreement with. i think most of us had pretty much put this entire "I was right and you were wrong" thing out of our heads. Just let it go man.

Does anyone else think those rims look like 17" anthracite Kosei Racing K1's? If they're not K1's they are awfully similar. K1's are a nice light rim that is fairly cheap..although I'm sure Mitsubishi would use a rim made by OZ or Enkei.

 

Don't K1's curve in at the edge?

This forum has been given me plenty of laughs. Keep up the good work. I mean no-one has posted any new about the EVO VIII in a while only recycled news.
I don't understand how a company can launch a car in a few months and no-one really knows sh*t... Just people guessing or making up crap and other people believing them and then re-posting different threads. It's like watching sheep follow each other....

If I posted it had 18inch alloys as standard and attached a few pics. I’m pretty much sure I could fool most people into believing something that isn't true. 1 person tells 3 people who tell 9 people. The knock on effect.

Anyway I not having ago at the forum just expressing my own personal view.
