pedal locks?

Im looking into buying one of these for my car but want to know which one would be stronger? Right now thieves go and try to just bust the lock instead which is easier so Im hoping maybe you can tell me which one might be stronger? The Autolock one says their lock is unbreakable but dont know if thats true or not. The Autolock clamps down around a pedal, making it difficult to depress: http://www.unbrakeable.com/ although I've always preferred the smaller and easier to store Pedal Jack: http://www.toadauto.com/pedaljack.shtml

Does anyone use one of these or has a friend that might have one?

I have the auto lock and it works great, but I would tell you to use a combo of deterents, ex: Good alarm that disables the car and the club plus the autolock or pedal lock(You just making it harder for them to take the car)! Remember a thief wants a quick get away and not to be noticed!! But all that aside if they really want your car they will take it! Nothing will stop them only delay them! Also these things only stop them from taking the car, not what you have insie the car(ex: radio, CD, seats, etc.) So Good luck , I hope this helped you!! Plus do a search there are other theards about this around!

Hey man, sounds like you read my previous post about those! I had the PedalJack and it works well, small enough to fit under the seat for storage (I think, haven't used it much on the Evo since I've moved back home, but it did fit under an S2000 seat). I think either would work well, although the Pedal Jack goes over 2 pedals while the Autolock goes over one.

Try this website http://www.autosportcatalog.com/inde...cid/86/sc/2737
If that doesn't work just Google Pedal Jack and see if any place else sells it. They used to have a company web site, but I don't know what happened to it.

get autolock and club on ebay, use a sniper and get it for less than half the price like i did. make sure your club is quad key, only the lx has that. and make sure your autolock is circle key. nothing will stop a flatbed except flame throwers and boots. so if you fear a tow get a boot too, but it's really a pain in the ***.

Are you sure the pedaljack will fit the Evo, the space looks very tight. Even with the Auto lock you would have to tilt the device in a very slanted angle for it to probably fit the pedals?

I will buy it and take it back for a refund. Just say it broke or you were not satisfied. They will just claim it out. You can buy them at local auto supply store and will be easy to get a refund.

Yeah, the Pedaljack definitely fits (even with larger aftermarket pedals) and there's room under the seat to store it; I just tested it out. The Pedaljack is adjustable for width, so it fits many applications.

I got my autolock at Target. I also have an alarm. And then you have our engine immobilizer. So we have 3 lines of defense that a thief will have to go through to get our cars. I think our cars are pretty good as I haven't heard of an EVO getting stolen yet, only vandalized.
