Trying to get the dealerships to start a waiting list and/or add me to theirs, and the reaction is pretty positive, but they all want to be free to charge whatever the market will bear if/when it comes.

I'm just curious if anyone here in the NW has found a dealership willing to agree to MSRP?

OK, how about this: who's on a waiting list period, and what are the dealerships saying about price, and how much they're going to jack it up from MSRP?

 

I put a $500 deposit down for the car back on August 8th. I think I was like third on the list at that time. And yes my contract states that the car was sold at MSRP. The dealers have no idea what MSRP will be though.

 

Wow, back in August, and there were already two people in front of you? Guess a lot of people are waiting for the EVO. Thanks for the info. I wouldn't mind putting down the $500 if any of the dealers I talked with were willing to do MSRP, but I haven't found any yet.
