U.S. Evo still performs really good without these parts
well to be honest, we had tested a USDM evo 8 and we were quite disappointed as compared to the Evos 5 to 7. the us 8 is 70kg heavier to match the body to weight ratio needed to comply with US laws.
I don't think the U.S. Evo is that bad, I own one. Consider the U.S.'s strick (and B.S. ) laws, I think Mitsubishi did a good job in transforming it.
