Camshaft Position Sensor

I have searched and looked in the service manual for the part # of the Camshaft Position Sensor. If you didn't know this is the sensor mounted on the front right side of the head which is right next to the upper radiator hose. It is supposedely a commonly broke piece when installing BOV's and CAI pipes.

Thanks for your help!

BTW I pulled this same sensor out of my girl's 04 Ralliart and it was almost identical although the probe part (goes into the head) had some lines and dots on the shaft part.

The sensor from the EVO has a completley smooth shaft and a little dot on the blunt end of the sensor. I also noticed the sensor was magnetic. It stuck to my metal shelves when I tried to half-**** fix the broken sensor.

The service manual doesn't list a PN. You may need to contact a dealer to get the number.

Look on the broken camshaft position sensor. It should have the part number on it.

MD327107 is the part #

On the sensor it doesn't have the part #, more like a production #.
