who else thinks the EVO RS w/ubran jungle package the best evo to get?
I beleive this is the best evo to have because, it;s cheap, has all the essenace of a evo, that make a evo great, and if mistubishi is being a ***** about warrenties, i think it's best to get a evo which meets all my requirements and does not have any of the crap that i don't need. I share this opinion with all, because well it's mine and i have a right to speak, but does anyone else agree with me? Also the RS allows me to get my own aftermarket wing and soundsystem, but in general it seems to me that the extras mitsu gives in the other evos is not worth the money but into them because the quality is nowhere near a 30k car. BUt it's a EVO and it dosen't matter, but that's how i feel, and if i had the money for a 30k car i would go for a STI, because subaru knows what it's doin with it's cars, have u seen the new leagacy, WOW!!, and now the mazdaspeed 6 is coming out, anyway, ur thoughts?
I think it has been mentioned before.. there is no "urban jungle package" offered for the RS, cause the A/C is already standard but power locks and windows are not an option on the RS. It's definitely a cool car (version) to get if u expect to go racing and stuff...but I think, for me, I want all the "JDM" options such as the rear window, wing, HIDs, etc.
i drive my evo 100 miles a day. if i had to do it without the power windows in the rear & no sound deadening i think i would kill myself. with the 3" catless exhaust it is already obnoxious @ 5am let alone if it had no sound deadening. i used to dread driving my 1g gsx that was sound deadening stripped to work every morning. got to the point where i just raced it & bought a 2g dsm for daily use.
if i were to get an evo for race/strip only use....i would have went rs without a doubt & put a wing on it with the couple bucks i saved. (also another preference of mine)

I drive my RS daily. It's very comfortable to me. As far as lack of sound deadening, it's a lot quieter than a regular Evo with an aftermarket exhaust. I've got no complaints at all. I got my RS because it appealed to me much more than my 03 GSR and it cost me almost nothing to switch.
The MR is an 05 and I can't imagine why it would be any lighter than an 05 RS. If anything, it's probably going to be heavier.

The '05 MR will be about 80 lbs heavier than the RS. The difference will be the sound system, sound deadening, HID headlights, no light trunk lid, no light rear glass. They both will have the aluminum roof.
