sorry to hear your troubles, I feel your pain and would be deeply disturbed if I paid for something and didn't receive anything at all in return.

I know Jay personally and even though he's flaky sometimes, he's a decent kid....I'm surprised he hasn't shipped you your parts yet, I'm hoping that he's super busy with school since he just started his first year of college. He used to have the most modded Evo in our car group and within 6 months of having the car he suped it up and decided to part it out.

Jay's goofy but I'll vouch that it seems out of a character if he just took your money and ripped you off. I know that the car is sitting at Slick's which is a good two+ hour drive away from where he is currently in college.

I'll try and contact him for you and see where it goes, I hope one of us can track him down since a bunch of us still communicate with him from time to time.

 

Funny no Ohio members are speaking up. He lives about 50 minutes from my house. I have no idea who he is, i am just judging from the city he is located at. I know many guys that can vouch for Slick, so don't drag their *** into this, unless they are a part of it.

the thread title says "explod scammed evom members," members being plural. Who else has he scammed, or were you just "magnifying the harm" for reading appeal?

 

When I had my exhaust put on at Slick Motorsports a couple of weeks ago, I saw Jay's car there along with some of his stock parts to be put back on his car. Jay is at college that is 2+ hours away from his car. I'm sure that this is a misunderstanding. I just left Jay a voicemail on his cell phone.

 

That's not personal info, that's the shop where Jay's car is at. Just pointing it out.

 

there are a total of 3 people that had paid and have not received items, myself! 345.10, intake and boost gauge, the master evo guy ordered shiet loads of stuff totaling 750 bucks, and one more guy, he replied to one of my posts earlier he said he ordered something i have not received it as well. I already called visa and they put down the payment as fraud, also sending me a new card and etc. It aint my fault if he has 3 people including myself pissed. I dont care about his personal life, of how far his college is and etc and that hes been to busy. He has over 1 grand worth of money from us and none of us has received anything. He will see how funny it is when paypal and visa gets him as fraud and messes up his credit during his life.

i've been scammed too. I think the guy died. I have sent him total of 6 email and pm's and no reply. I bought the craig hardy gauge panel for $103 shipped. never got it. I don't get either. he has good feedback on ebay and paypal. Thats why i think he either died or got deported to war... Whatever, paypal is investagating the matter and if in 10 days their is no reply, on confirmation of delivery or emails from him i will get my money back.

 

Thank you everyone for reading my post and the extra help. I'm not the only one in this delima, I think there are 3 of us. But the 3rd dude is unknow to me. He posted once on Jay's sale thread, but other than that, I dont know much about him. Well, he doesnt pick up his phone anymore so I dont know exactly what's going on with him.

Can somebody in here get access to his house phone and call his parents for me? I just want to know what've happened to him. I would feel like **** if something major happened over the weekend or something. I hope that this is just a miscommunication, since so many members that met him before vouched for him.

 

If you paid with Paypal and used a credit card you can dispute it with your credit card company. If the money was taken out of your checking account you may have a problem. Its damn sad that this guy scammed you like that. What a punk.

 

Hey, so there is really 3 of us! I thought the same way when I paid him. I also happened to talk to the guy for a couple of days before I made my purchase. I'm starting to think something might have happened to him over the weekend. But if anybody get me his house phone, that would clear up alot of miscommunication! Please....some one pleast step up!!!!
