We are not complete shut-ins. We did manage to find a little time to go wheel to wheel racing with an EVO or two this year. We won the Border Series Open Class championship in Mexico. Anything goes street races in Tijuana and Tecate.

We have also been racing Kent Jordan's EVo in both SCCA and NASAin So Cal. He won his championship this year too. Has any other shop been campainging EVOs in wheel to wheel racing this year?

If anyone has questions about the inner politics at MMSA and the big book magazines, hit me up in person at the Shoot Out.

Suspension is just off the shelf RRE JIC's as far as I know. Brakes are just stoptech. Pretty basic. I mean you got Ohlin, whatever they are. Plus you got how many hours of dyno tuning? You know how Kent Jordan's car is tuned? Find a straight deserted road, hammer the throttle, watch guages, "I think we can lean it out a couple more notches, what do you think?" "Do it eh??"

I'm sorry. I didn't realize you were smart enough to stray from Vishnu. I'll play nicer now. I was under the impression that your car was a Vishnu specialty, the ulitmate product of Mr. Shiv himself. You should put a RRE emblem on your car... maybe on top of the Vishnu emblem.

See ya manana. I'll bring the Corona AND the bottle opener.

Are you the dude sitting to my left at the driver's meeting the night before? If so, thanks for help on the Corona's.

I'll take you up on your offer of another, as long as it is after 10:00am (I not an early drinker ).

For a company like RRE whos's just around the corner from MMSA who's been dealing with Mitsu's for so long one's gotta wonder how another company that recently got into just one Mitsu model(Evo) get privy to some nice dibs on, company Evo's, TV and magazine publicity. Whatever the politics are it's gotta sting.

There's no lives at risk in a 50 mph turn. Paint maybe, lives no. If your skeered of a little paint swappin', better to stay at home and watch on TV.

Besides, looking at the pics on the link, it looks to me like the Viper wasn't holding his line. Once a car pulls up beside you before making a turn, you're supposed to hold your line through the turn until you either fit in front or behind that person. The Evo got pushed off the track, but instead of being a whiny baby, he fought back and stayed in front. That's racing, and I'm sure both parties at the track feel the same.
