Official evolutionm.net / Speed Ventures Evo Shootout Presented by DSport Magazine
Newsflash:
1st - 124.3 - Robi --- Muellerized...
2nd- 125.20 - Kent Jordan A.K.A Viper Killer --- Muellerized...
3rd - 125.21 - GT40 wheeled by Otto --- Muellerized...
4th - 126.?? - Deiter STWHY? --- Muellerized...
5th - 126.?? - Mueller in Customer Drag Car --- Muellerized... overnight
There was some pattern developing but it was too cold for me to figure it out.
All the rest of you clowns - get Muellerized or get used to being slow. Or your other alternative is to get Vishnued. I hear that involves bragging about sponsorship and 25 hr endurance racing and then catching your car on fire as fast as you can. Maybe its cuz the car was flamin fast??? Or maybe it was just flamin'? Get Vishnued...

Congrats to everyone on their incredible times, and most of all, congrats to John for developing such a killer suspension set-up for the EVO.
I loved the set-up at the track!
we're "Team EvolutionMR.net/VOLK RACING/TOYO TIRES" we tried to set baseline benchmark.
2005 MR, bone stock except for 17x9 et35 VOLK RACING CE28N (thanks to Eddie @ Mackin), 255/40/17 TOYO RA-1 (full thread, thanks to Rob @ Toyo). PFC brake pads (barely better than stock though). 1:29.348. I think it could do a 1:28.x actually. I just tried too hard and went in too deep on my 2nd lap. I think with true track pads 1:28's will be no problem. Our goal was just to demonstrate how capable the MR is with just good tires/rims. I'm very impressed with the MR.
Good job everybody the lap times you guys are pulling are awesome. Thanks to KK and Aaron (SpeedVentures) for putting it together.
