I just got my clamps 2.5" from siliconintakes and I cant get them on. They seem way to small. How can I measure them to make sure they sent me the correct sizes, because I have the feeling they sent me a size too small.

SiliconeIntakes.com now offers a "Cajun Power Evo package deal." This kit uses the 3" clamp for the throttle body and all 3 1.5" clamps for the DV. They have been out of stock on the 2" for some time now so you can't oder the kit.

Since I am replacing one of my intercooler pipes right now I figure now is a good time to upgrade to T bolts and metal DV before winter hits. I can't wait any longer for the 2" to come back into stock so I went ahead and ordered what I could and what most of you seem to agree works:

1 x 2.75" TB clamp NOT 3"
7 x 2.5" clamps
Not bothering with the the 1.5" DV clamps at this time.

I was going to get the 2" from my local NAPA but they are retards who are impossible to communicate and deal with so I am now not sure where to get the 2".

I am probably going to order from this place (even though they are alot more expensive):
http://intakehoses.com/Merchant2/mer...gory_Code=TBC5

However, since they list different clamps according to INNER diameter in BOTH silicone and rubber I am alittle unsure which size will be correct. I *THINK* what they list as the clamp for 2" INNER DIAMETER BLACK RUBBER HOSE Is what I need. I am placing an order now. If you know for a fact that this is incorrect please let me know so I can change the order. Otherwise, I'll let you know how it turns out.

Does anyone know the size of the MAF outlet? The stock clamp keeps breaking on me.

sorry I forgot to post that the 2" clamps from that intakehoses link i posted were too big for the LICP. I'd say about .25" too big.

What about the t bolt clamps from Turbohoses.com? I ordered a set of intercooler outlet hoses from them. Came with really nice Tbolt clamps. QUality of their hoses are excellent. Just curious what everyone else thinks of them.

Some worm type clamps are good - especially the ABA or the AWAB ones (same manufacturer) used in boats and stuff.

Has smooth inner band and rolled edges so it doesn't mess up the hose..

I bought the silicon intakes T-BOLT set, had to replace 2 of the 2.5" of them because they were too small (intercooler coupler) - got better fitting T-BOLTS from my local "Hose-Man". The others 2.5" ones seems to fit but the bolts have too much thread sticking out (are we supposed to dremel em?) . For the 3 - 1.5" clamps used in the diverter valve, I used AWAB clamps instead (much easier to get on).

If i were to do it all over again, I would have bought properly sized AWAB clamps instead. Don't really like these T-bolts, seems a bit big for the application (maybe just these Silicon Intake Clamps, the local hose-man t-bolts that I bought seems to be sized better, but I didn't want to waste my money replacing all of them).

These should work (AWAB) - pricey though.

QTY: 7 - AWAB-316076 (2" -> 3") - QTY 1 - Also Known As ABA (#40)
QTY: 1 - AWAB-316083 (2-1/4" -> 3-1/4") - Also Known As ABA (#44)
QTY: 3 - AWAB-316044 (1-1/4" -> 1 3/4") - Also Known As ABA (#20)
QTY: 2 - AWAB-316064 (1-1/2" -> 2 1/2") - Also Known As ABA (#32)

For removing the bumper right, you know how there's black plastic bolts to secure the bumper? How do you remove it without breaking it?

you want to get a small flat head screwdriver and pop the center head out then you can pop the whole thing out.
