How To: Install a Zeitronix Wideband
That is correct if only the wideband is used. Additional taps are needed if you have more sensors (i.e. MAP that comes with Zeitronix)
We are talking about taps, not butt connectors. Only 5 taps are needed at the ECU. MAP sensor use 3 butt connectors that do not connect to the ECU. So there should only be 5 taps at the ECU.

Oh let me see...Your post from this thread "install zeitronix zt2?" that i used for wiring. one, two, three, four, five, SIX. And that is without talking about MAP. Which i have a question about now: That thread has a suggestion to connect #6 yellow to ECU's 81. And with MAP sensor you have to use that #6 for MAP's power. So i connected all three together, and that's an additional tap connector. Is this wrong? Mr Z said it was wrong. Does that mean i should not connect #6 to #81?
I have done so many that I do not need to look at the pinouts. But yellow, brown #2 and orange go to the MAP sensor. None of them connect to the ECU.
Orange to sensor green.
Yellow to sensor red.
Brown #2 to sensor black.
ECU taps are:
Red: 12v ECU
Black: Ground
Gray: TPS
Green: RPM tach
Brown #1: Sensor ground at ECU

the zeitronics doesn't log knock does it?
Also I had buschur weld a bung in for me when I orderd my exhaust... they put the bung in back where the 02 in the cat goes.. eveything fits there ok.. but can u mount that plastic plug outside the car?? I'm almost tempted to just plug that hole, and have a new bung welded in, it such a nice install being in the dp there.
