Good info, used it this morning. Only thing I noticed is you have pin 46 and 49 labeled backwards, 49 is sensor earth and 46 is power ground.

so then should when I install it should be

7. black ecu pin 49 power ground
8. sensor ground ecu pin 46

that right? Or are they the right wires, but he just mislabled them?

Sensor ground 49.

The main point is to have different grounding locations, but I would go by the book with brown zeitronix wire to 49 on an EVO IX only.

the how-to has the wires right, just mislabeled

quick question I went to install the software on my lap top, and it wouldn't install. Is there a trick to installing it? When I click on the install it didn't do anything?

I bought a usb to serial port adapter and I cant get it to interface with the softare. What com port or changes do I need to make to get it to read?

Did your adapter come with a Cd for the drivers.. took me a day to figure out that there was a CD with my adapter... It will work after you do that

Im trying to install my zeintronix wideband on my 02 lancer oz and i cant find any pin numbers that i have to splice into. I know the ecu is different in the evo but i was wondering if anyone knew what signal wires go were

Look at RRE's site. I believe they have PIN readout for the Lancer...
