I basically looked at both link and came up with the list. I just wanted to confirm with someone who've already done that. Plus, it will be usefull for Evo 8 people for future reference.

Anyone installed the ZAVT1, relay, and boost solenoid? I have a few questions about the relay and solenoid wiring....

On the relay :
(1) #85 goes to the white wire coming off the ZAVT1 (will that be hot or grounded when the trigger is met??)

(2) Do I connect #86 (12v+) to a switched power source? (or does this become 12V+ when the alarm / trigger is met)

(3) #30 do I need to ground this?

(4) #87a and 87 ?? What are these used for?

Thanks

87a removes power, 87 gets power. when triggered. 87a can be snipped off.

30 and 85 get 12v.

86 goes to ZAVT-1 white output as we discussed on the phone yesterday.

87+ when triggered goes to BCS bypass 12v + with the other side grounded.

OK now I am more confused...Zeitronix instructions say :

Pin #4 (White) goes to negative side of the relay (which it depicts as 85)

It also shows 86 as going to 12v+

But 30, 87, and 87 a it says nothing....

So it appears TTPs/ Scott's numbers don't sync with Zeitronix which is why I am so so so confused....Please help clarify / correct.

So I finally installed and setup the ZAVT1. I tested the simple condition to see how it works (basically set boost >=18psi) and it definitely killed boost, beeped, and light flashed. The odd thing is the ZAVT1 does not appear to hold the 'trigger' for 4 seconds -- I was holding throttle at 100% and it seemed to immediately starting building boost and then alarm triggered again vs. just keeping boost at WG (~14psi).

Is this configurable or does this sound normal?

My complex formula is :

Boost >= 19 psi
TPS >= 75%
Lean AFR >=11.8

Thoughts?

It is user configurable under warning/triggers catagory from and instantaneous cut to a user defined number of seconds. To have it cut for 4 seconds, you need to enter 4.

Scott -- Any idea why I cannot select anything in the Alarm Properties box (v2.0.18) ? I see where I should be able to increase duration but it is not an active box for some reason.
