Still not able to change the alarm duration....Thanks for your help.
You may need a firmware update or the latest software download from the www.zeitronix.com website.

It's an old Zt-2 box, which does not support alarm duration feature. If you need the alarm duration we offer an upgrade option for older Zt-2s, this way you do not need to buy new hardware. Contact us at sales @ zeitronix dot com

what would be the best excuse when you get pulled over and you have your Zeitronix ZT-2 right in front their eyes ? LOL

There is nothing illegal about monitoring your car's emissions, logging error codes, etc. Any cop that thinks it [Zeitronix] is illegal would have his/her a$$ handed to them in court by a lawyer [that could breath].

Ok, I hope this isn't a dumb question. How do I have my LCD display show the TPS %? Right now, it says 'USER' and I don't know what the number displayed represents. I have an Evo 8 and I wired it like below (I don't have the boost or EGT sensors).

Red -12 (12V Switched Power Supply, or any other 12V source)
Green - 58 ( Tach Signal)
Black - 26 (Chassis Ground, or any other ground)
Brown -92 (Sensor ground)
Grey - 84 (Throttle Position Sensor Signal)

On the Zeitronix website, it says to connect the boost wire (orange) to the +5V (yellow wire). Is this correct even though the yellow wire isn't tapped into anything? Do I just splice the orange and yellow wire on the zeitronix harness together?

Also, is there a way to get rid of EGT on the LCD display and have it show RPM's or something? I'm not going to be hooking a EGT sensor up.

Thanks!
Brian

User shows value in volts.
Connect yellow to orange wire to display TPS% on the LCD.
EGT is your friend and a cheap insurance for expensive engine.

Just to reiterate - I have an EVO9..

I don't really want to hook up the RPM and etc, just want the AF reading.. Here's what I should be doing..

Red Wire on Zeitronix -> ECU PIN #47 (Battery) Color (RD/YLW)
Black Wire on Zeitronix -> ECU PIN #46 (PWR Ground) Color (BLK)

If I start buy the ZEITRONIX MAP sensor, should I then make sure I wire the (Brown #1) ZT Pin 8 -> ECU PIN #49 (Sensor Ground).

The original post is confusing as the labels are wrong on #46 and #49.

Red wire on red and gold stripe.

Black on ECU black solid wire.

For MAP sensor, closest brown to yellow and orange in the Zeitronix wiring harness can be hooked to same solid black on the ECU as the main ground.

Yellow Zeitronix to Red MAP sensor.

Orange Zeitronix to Green MAP sensor.

2nd brown on Zeitronix NOT NEEDED.

For the EVO X, the ECM seems to be in the engine bay.. Where should we tap for Power and Grnd inside the cabin?

Can we use a mini-fuse tap (for example, the cigarette lighter fuse)?

Where should we hook up the ground to?

If you pinch the two ECU plugs plastic dustshields, they will come loose and allow access to the wiring.

No, the Zeitronix is self calibrating and does not require cumbersome free-air calibration.
