I always get new gaskets no matter what i change. The one thing no one likes to change is injector O rings. Those I think you have to change everytime you take the injectors out.
Holy old thread! lol Thanks man.
There is a better shot in this link with the spark plug cover all doctored up.

I want to take mine to a shop to get it powdercoated, so it would be as simple as removing the valve cover. The problem is I can't find a write-up of how to do that on evom, and I somehow doubt it's that easy.
Anyone?

I did this a long time ago. Just remove your valve cover, cover your head with a clean trash bag let the oil from the valve cover drip into a catch can for awhile. Then sand down the entire cover, clean it up with some paint prep. Once its ready for paint hit it with 3 base coats of primer. I used white engine primer to withsatand the heat, then let it drie for 15 minutes or so. Then hit it with as many color coats as you need to achieve your desired effect. Then finish it off with 2 to 3 coats of clear. I used high heat clear for this aswell. Mine turned out very good IMO. The only hiccups were the valve cover seal broke ( just fixed it with some RV sealant ) and when I got my clutch replaced they scratched the hell out of it, so now I am getting ready to redo it. I can post some pics later if you like.
