Yeah, I'm going to take it to my preferred auto & stereo shop and see if they have the time to install it for me. I wish I had the time (and confidence) to do it myself, but I'm more comfortable letting my installer have a crack at it. Once that's done, I'll post up some pics so we can all bask in the pimpitude.

I just ordered one too as a winter project. Let me know if you get yours installed and have any tips!

If you had a starter and installed a push start button, would the starter still work?

wuttup fellas. came to check up on this thread. ended up buying an engine start from ebay and turned out to be cheap as hell. never installed it. unable to find a descent one except the ones for the s2k. "Tsurugi-san" thanks for the tip on the site. Definitely check it out and please do post picks after.
And "Sikrsix", you must be psychic cus i was doing some research on aftermarket bovs for the reason not to be loud, but for performance. Any tips? Currently have ix mr bov btw. thanks guys.

My JDM one just showed up today. Looks pretty plug'n'play to me, other than making a hole in the dash for the button and the template being "backwards". Other than that it seems like the harness should just plug right in.

if i got one i would rather it be just push and start. Im thinking about doing a battery kill switch a switch to send power through alternator and the push button to start like in my race car

Doesn't your key have to be in the ignition to start the car with the push start?

Just turn the key, christ.

hmm i couldnt find the one you guys keep talkinabout on japanparts.com ne chance for a link??

about the key thing you could do it so that when you unlock your car it also sets it to on acc using an imobalizer sorta like half an auto start and then you get in and just hit the button and go.... with some creativity you can turn this from a decent mod to pimp as hell plus one

even with they key in there is jsut something fun about hiting the button also the show factor etc etc

Here's the link for the part from Japanparts.

http://www.japanparts.com/db/partsli...ey=180-005-010

Comes with a full nearly plug-n-play harness (that's why it's so expensive).

Anyone ever get this? I've got mine, I just haven't gotten around to installing it yet.
