Well from previous past last time i went to the track w/o cams and injectors i could not break into the 12s.. and that when i had the car tuned and dynoed!!! i got the cams and injectors smacked in and as i went to the track me and my friend played with the safc a bit while checking with my datalogger... my 1st run was 12.4@111... almost a whole second than the last time at the track.. than my next run i ran a 12.2@113 and a bit better my 3rd run.... my cams helped a lot... my 1/8 was pretty slow but my car made up for it at the end.. my car just seems like it keeps on pulling...i hit fuel cut most of the time but now i can manage to shift just before it kicks in....i cant wait to get kicked out of the track for not having a roll cage

heres a link that shows my 3 runs and a clip of my second run is there too:

very nice MJ! i think ill take a stab at this myself!.. however, i do have a question:

what filter is that? it looks pretty nice and small!

also, we have forge dv's in stock if you need one! it comes with 4 different springs with different spring tensions, as well as 3 shims to let u adjust for whatever boost you're going to be running!

i have a link right in my sig for where to buy it... we send it out fedex!

Its actually pretty large, just looks small because it looks like its "Inside" the airbox when its actually under it... In any case its the Buschur racing filter.. Its nearly identical to the K&N FIPK

Hmm.. you can hear it the same as if it were just an open air filter.. I'm actually disappointed that it didn't quiet it down a bit.. But you still hear the DV's whoosh..

Very niiiiiice Malibu! Good way to go stealth. People are always judging by what they (cannot) see under the hood! I was thinking about the Bushur myself. Alot less than all the other intakes out there.

At this tiime I'm using the stock intercooler and MAS piping.. However that may change very soon... I cannot be certain what will be in the way with those changes because the MAF pipe seems to shift the filter and maf sensor slightly. Assuming nobody with these mods tries it, I will try all of this stuff over the next few months..

I'm going to give it a try today. I've got the buschur mas pipe, air filter and the bracket from them that mounts the air filter/ mas assembly to the frame, if something doesn't fit.... dremel it. I will post in a few hours on how or if it turns out. Wish me luck.
