Very helpful thread, although utilizing a $5 Bussman fuse tap was easier because:

1. You didn't have to disassemble the center console to get to the lighter power source.
2. The Bussman tap uses a buddy fuse.
3. Access to the fuse box in right next to your left knee. (very accessible)
4. Basically using less wire, cleaner and faster install.
