ya iridium last longer and the spark is more concentrated, if your racing or messing with a/f ratios and what not jsut throw platinum in or copper and change them out every month...

please keep in mind...our factory spark plugs are already iridium. make sure you know what you're doing if you choose to go with different spark plugs, as resistor type copper, platinum, and iridiums all ignite differently.

Earlier I said use copper and now I would like to retract that statement. You will feel a decrease in performance if you change to a copper plug. I went back to the iridium tip, money well spent. Sorry for my last statement I was wrong.

Although the 2023 BPR7ES's are great plugs, another good one is the NGK 4091 V Power plugs. We use them in evo's with great luck. Oh and yes Denso Iridiums are awesome plugs. In the MKIV Turbo supra's they're one of the only plugs that doesn't really ever have a miss under high boost.

BTW, per the long thread, the owner's manual lists .024-.026 as the recommended gap, whereas the shop manual lists .028-.03. I checked my stock plugs, and with my feeler gauge they seemed to be ~.026. The Denso iridiums I got from Z1 are pre-gapped at .028. I think the tip is to go with the largest gap that doesn't miss. Hopefully .028 will be good. Did you check/change the gap GTEVO? It's kind of a PITA to change the gap with the iridiums. I broke one of the NGK's I put in my wife's car.
Take care,
