Need help, half of sunroof stuck in tilt

After looking around it seems like no one has my problem. A while ago my sunroof started making a grinding noise and but I was able to get it closed. I didn't notice at first but one side of the sunroof is in tilt and the other is already down. I've taken out the motor and took off the glass but each side doesn't seem to move independently. When i took out the motor I noticed that 2 of the screws holding it in had fallen off and the last one was loose. I think that the motor was only making contact with one rail. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix it?

I took out the motor following the first instructions but, the roof is diagonal it wont move even without the motor in. I might try taking the glass off and trying the second to see if each side will learn independently of each other.
