I am really confuse now. I have a IX MR, and I turned the headlights on and marked the wall where the low beams are stock setting 0. I then turned the setting to 4 and raised the beams up to where they where stock at 0. I did this by using a 10mm socket on a ratchet turning the nut between the highbeam and foglights. From what I can tell the High beams moved as well (looked as if the plastic nut thing turned in cunjuction with the nut the socket was on).

Before anyone flames, I did it this way so on a windy road at night I can turn them up via the cockpit switch, normal city driving turn them down.

Post year and model for adjustment directions

obviously there are more than one way to adjust the low beams for each car
we need a chart for each model and year
I have an 06 MR and need to adjust slightly as i kept my drop almost level
but its a bit low still
we need to post results

5 minute job if that
use the 10mm plastic nut
it will adjust everything ccw raises
cw lowers
you can do it headlights on in the accesory position and the adjusters dont freak outhope that helps anyone

I need to do this mod tonight. I have an 05 EVO VIII with HIDS. Hopefully I don't run into the problems a few of us have.

Okay, call me crazy but I am turning the exact bolt in the picture N00dle has provided, and it seems like the only thing that it adjusts are the high beams! The HIDS are not moving at all.

What am I missing out here? Is there another bolt next to it that I should be looking for?

Any info would def help! Thanks.

Okay from pages of pages of reading I think I figured out why only the High Beams are moving. It seems as if the "Black Plastic Gear" is stripped. So now I guess I have to turn them manually.

What is the easiest way to turn this piece manually. I know these gears are made of plastic and are very sensitive? Any suggestions?
