gsc cam install question

gsc cam install question
it says in the directions that came with the cams that you should run conventional oil not synthetic for the first two heat cycles then to switch oil after this break in... how anyone not done this and still been fine? is it necessary to use non synthetic oil for the first two cycles? lmk how you guys think about this pls
