ahh got it
figured it out
i used the turbo outlet and ran it to the wastegate
the problem was low boost
i hat set too low
its now 48% and 52%
or 19 psi and 21 psi
i had it at 10 and it wasnt doing anything but 15 psianyone else feel the need to use the bov line over the turbo outlet nipple?
need opinions

I've done both and found zero difference. The EVO and DSM groups are the only place I've ever heard anyone recommend using the BOV line. The rest of the world seems to always use the turbo nipple. But again, I tried both and there was zero difference for me.

would setting the limiter to 10% cause the boost to bounce from 34 to 26 to 34 to 26?
The biggest issue I am having, aside the above, is figuring out what SET %=what psi. Then I guess it's way over and it hits the target then warn so the limit kicks in and 10% is too high.

look at some of the posted settings listed and work from there
keep the limiter at maximum desired boost ie mine is at 24psi and the limiter to about 4%
holds 23.8 and doesnt move

Here's my setting on my profec b spec2 for my evo5 motor.
Set 43%
Gain 9%
Set Gain 10%
Warning 190
Limter 4%
I get full boost at 1.2 bar and tapper down to 1.1 bar.. Like most people say here. you have to drive up and down a open road w/ out any traffic to find the sweet spot for your car.

im surprised you have any taper at all
then again i have an IX
but it hits 23.8 if i ad 1% then its more than 24psi
which i dont want to hit
my low boost is set at i believe 50% for 20.3psi which is stock boost level
its a huge difference between the two while driving

I can't seem to get more than 12 psi on first and 2nd gear no matter what I set the gain or set % to. The only time i've been able to hit 17 or 18 psi is when my set gain is set to something around 4, but that makes the turbo spool all the way at 5k rpms and thats too late for my liking. I don't know whats wrong..could it be that it was installed incorrectly?

i think you have to make sure that when you are setting it in psi that if you want 18 psi you set it to 180
and you prob didnt set the right button
press it in and set it to desired boost
i had that same prob until i figured taht out
read the post a few times as its not the easiest controller to setup
use the settings showns as a baseline and tune accordingly

ooh forgot to mention... when installing this boost controller, theres one thing don't go by greddy. the vaccum line which gives u the readout, it's better to hook it up before the solenoid between the intake manifold and fuel regulator it will give u more accurite readouts.
