Sports Meter Kit and additional boost gauge?

I already have the factory Sports Meter Kit installed by Mitsu. However, as I am sure you all know it is not in the most convenient place. I would like to install another boost gauge on the steering column, either an Autometer or Defi.

Do you think I could T off the boost line under the dash, where it connects to the boost on the Sports Meter Kit? And then I would have 2 boost gauges??

Or do you think I would have to unhook the boost from the sports meter kit and hook that line up to my new gauge?? And would that work??

For those of you who are experienced with installing boost gauges and controller, let me know what you think. I have no performance mods, I would just like a gauge where I can see it!!!

Yes, you can tee off the stock gauge. I have a new boost gauge on the A pillar and they both are in synch with each other, except the new one is in PSI and easier to read and see.

Swap the gauges to the top and put the radio in the bottom. Move the boost gauge to the leftmost hole.

Yes, I though about moving the gauges up, but I haven't decided what I want to do. Part of the reason I want to get another gauge, it that it may be a biy more accurate AND it will be in PSI.

I just want to know if I could use 2 boost gauges installed off the same line? And from the response I got here, it seems like I can.
