"How To" fix alloy wheel scrapes!

finally found a perfect match for the stock wheels.
Suzuki metallic sonic silver, Suzuki color code YD8 color-rite color code 4915. Its the silver paint on a 2000 blue and silver Hayabusa. I used color-rites urethane touch up paint .

And remember when changing tires make sure you insist on a touchless tire changing machine, and stick on weights

Has anyone located a source for this paint ...... that doesn't cost and arm and a leg?

Curb Rash!
Ok. Now for the tough question. Does anyone know of where around Fairfield, CT shops do rim repair?
I did my rim and it has a bit more than a light scratch.
WAACCKKKK! Goes the right rear wheel.
I have looked abit but can't find any shops that do it.
I was told Precision Rim in Milford, CT would do it, but I cant find them.
Any ideas?

Fix your screwups!
Ok, guys I have found that I will bite the bullett and fix them myself. I have two sets of stock rims and one set of winter rims. I got about $89 of paint, primer and clear from: WWW.color-rite.com
Two things I am going to do are: Fix the light scrapes and fix the metal that come off my pads and ate into my rims. Next time I will catch it before it does dammage.
I am wondering how much I need to sand them before I prime the spots that need fixing.
Anyway, I just think there alot of helpful people here and ony a fe people who do't have a clue on how to search for information.
"Does the RS come with power windows." FLAME ON!!!
Have a great weekend everyone. I am waiting for the snow. Then I will shoot some video of me doing donuts on a parking lot. (Much safer than on the street)

these harsh pa winter roads are making my rims beg me to do this... they use so much salt and cynders when they only have a dusting! Leaves mass quanties of **** on the road for ppl to slide around on... nice

Well, no need to fear...I've done this enough times to have a easy way to do home repairs with a few simple items. Note that this ONLY covers light scuffs, this isn't meant to be used to repair a DAMAGED wheel or one where the scuffs cause significant damage to the rim. This is only for those annoying superficial scuffs like happened to me more times than I care to admit. Now there are PLENTY of GOOD services which can do this for VERY reasonable money...most folks will happily do this but I'm inpatient and have the free time (generally) to spend a couple of hours doing this and it REALLY takes the edge off donking my wheels when I know I can simply fix it myself.
