Which hose to tap for boost gauge?
There are two places I have seen where to tap for boost gauge. A guy on this site tapped into the hose going from the FPR solenoid to the intake manifold. But then Evomoto.com, in their tech section tapped into the hose connecting the FPR solenoid to the fuel pressure regulator. They said this reads pressure 24/7 so it's a prime candidate. Does it matter which hose? They both originate from the FPR solenoid, one from the top the other the bottom, but go in opposite directions to different areas.
Or you can just tap the line that is going to your BOV as well. It is a little safer incase if one of your connections became lose at the regulator you could get a lean condition which isnt to safe.

There is a great write-up with pics here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ad.php?t=80775

If you are going to tap the FPR line, do it between the manifold and solenoid.
With a lil advice from AMS techs, I tapped the line directly off the manifold right after the throttle body. Same line the BOV runs through, but follow it to the manifold. Input from the line running along the engine plug cover. I believe this initally caused some problems, throwing a SES with a low flow condition from my EGR valve, but this was with a 3" catback, and always at low RPM's. Adding the Forge DV, Perrin downpipe and UR test pipe, no SES to date, car runs beautiful, holds 20+ psi all the way to redline.

Lines going to the throttle body are not as dead on, as stated by Evomoto.com. Tapping between the turbo and boost control solenoid probably won't read vacuum, not to mention it probably isn't accurate as well. Someone stated before the FPR solenoid. Which is before the solenoid, since there are 2 hoses coming out of it.
