And a lot of what I see are people doing "cocktails" where additives can have an adverse effect on each other or running improper fluids such as the lightweight GM Synchromesh Fluids....
Again, where a huge problem lays is that there is no Governing Body over Gear Lubes.... They can say whatever they want on the label.... Even with automotive oils, only about 1 in 5 are close to what they say on the label...
I don't know about the MT-90, but seeing that it is a gear lube, I would think it is comparable to Redline Synthetic 75W-90... Even though it came in 5th place over all, it still failed the tests for Gear Lubes in the 4 Major categories.
Page 19 of the following link will give the over-all test scores of 14 Gear Lubes in Inependent tests.

Brand of product cannot void a warranty, improper product can...
The Redline May help your shifts, I would take a good look at following link, page 19 will give you the end results.. Whatever you use, be sure it carries a GL-4 Rating.... A GL-5 DOES NOT supercede a GL-4, but some oils may carry both ratings.
Use of a Standard Gear Lube, that is not designed for use in a SynchroMesh tranny, may not totally help your problem. We have found that standard gear lubes, not desined for SyncroMesh Trannies, may "slow" the shifts down slightly causing a missed shift.. Of course if there is already damage internally, no fluid will help.

These tests were performed by Independent Labs and show how Gear Lubes have no Governing Body and can pretty much say anything they want as noted that some neither make grade right out of the bottle, or after tests.

Thats a very interesting article. If this article is truly unbiased then we all should be running amsoil severe gear. What does it sell for Oil doc?
