how do i uninstall/install a trunk lid?

anyone got a how to fir swapping out the oem trunk lid with a cf one?

It's just four bolts (12mm?) and maybe a wiring harness depending on your spoiler.

The only tricky part is fishing the trunk release and wiring harness out of the trunk and back into the new one. It's not really tricky, just time consuming. Just look at it and you'll figure it out. The lock cylinder is just held in with a little clip that pops right out.

The Seibon trunk lid I bought doesn't have a hole for the stock key so rather than cut a hole can I just not install that part of the locking mechanisim. Another words, can I just install the latch and wire for the trunk release by the driver seat (which would eliminate the key lock and the saftey pull latch inside the trunk "in case you were locked in the trunk"?

Well im an idiot....this was an easy install. The hardest part was fishing everything out and reinstalling it.
