Will a Lancer ES trunk lid replace (match) the Evo 8 trunk lid? Where can I get one.. other than the dealer.

 

I think any lancer '02 or '03 will match the EVO's trunk. Your best bet is to search your local salvage yard. I've searched online, but no one has an online inventory of parts. You may try swapping with a Lancer owner too.

 

No but you can pick up an unpainted Evo trunk with no wing from the dealership for about 362.00 I had one dealership tell m you couldn't so I called another near-by and they said no prob.

Thanks guys. And as for the SEARCH comment - this board has the WORST search function that I've ever experienced. You search for a specific item and you get a plethera of garbadge you have to parse through. Personally, I don't have time for that crap/

 

i dont know what dogtown has been smoking, but an 03 lancer trunk lid will defintly fit on an evo..
junkyard is the cheapest way, since the lancer doesnt come in the same colors as the evo, you;d have to paint it regardless... so save $150 and get a junkyard lid, and use that 150 to get it painted..

Don't search for "trunk". No kidding you find the 2042 results completely useless. Search for something more meaningful such as "evo AND trunk AND swap". This brings back a total of 35 results. You can norrow that even further if thorw in a few more OR's or AND's.
