Dash removal

Does anyone know if you can remove the top dash part in an evo 8? If so is it difficult? Let me know cause I want to finish customizing my interior and it will be a lot easier if I could take it off.

Like the top part, the actual "dash" board. Good luck, you have to pretty much remove everything, all panels steering wheel ect, pull all the crap/airbags out to get to the bolts to remove that thing. Why do you need it out?

I am finishing up my interior with carbon fiber and I can do the top dash without taking it of but wanted to see how difficult it was if I was to take it of but I don't know if I want to go through that

Just take the dront windshield out and do it that way. It will be easier than removing it from the car.

So do you really have to do all that to remove the top dash piece? Is there a how to anywhere rather than taking the windshield out?

If you really need to get to the front of it, take out the windshield. If you need it out, I'm sorry. There is a ton of work to get it out. I dont know the exact steps, but it is certainly in there, as I have tried twice. Then I read about where it connects and gave up on it.
