MR gauge package removal

is there a how to on removing the MR gauge panel? I did a quick search bc im at work but didnt find anything.

i already have the actuall gauges out, i just need to know how to get the wiring out...what needs to come out ect..

The harness that powers the gauges is connected to the radio harness. So you can simply unclip it from the radio harness and remove that but the oil temp is a different story and I'm not sure how to remove that wiring completely.

Look on evolutionmr.net. I posted there 4 years ago and many other people as well(with pictures). There are 3 type of wires, black for ground, red for power and yellow for the light.
The oil sending unit is plugged into the oil filter assy(I think). The ground has a single black terminal.

It has been a long time since I did one, I also had one on my GSX.

all i had to do was cut the wires going to the gauges but hooked up aftermarket ones. 2 reds (power)for volt and temp gauge, 3 yellow (illumination/switched power) for 3 gauges, 3 blacks( ground) and joined black and white for temp sensor going to the oil drain plug. you can pull the wire of the temp sender through the firewall, behind the front passenger fender. pics for reference:
