Walbro 255 help

ok I installed the stock and walbro unit several times into my car and have not been able to get my car to start, it started before the install. I believe I checked all fuses and none seem blown. All wires are in an put in correctly. I can hear the fuel pump working after I try to start it. It seems that the fuel line isnt pressurizing. Anyhelp would be nice

If I remember right, there is a small black o-ring kind of gasket that has to be in place above the fuel pump. When you pushed the pump up into the white plastic housing, did it kind of "snap" into place? If not, the fuel it's pushing out is just leaking right there back into the fuel tank and not pressurizing the system.

I know you did, but double check all wiring connections and fuses.

Maybe, just maybe... try resetting your ECU buy disconnecting the battery terminal this will of course reset your stock radio presets. I'm thinking maybe the ECU doesn't understand that you installed the pump? Hm... maybe I'm totally off. Just a wild shot in the dark, I have no clue myself [noob] :-/

the ecu is indeed oblivious to the pump change and thus it's going to be richer until it's tuned since the fuel pressure won't be falling off like it does with the stocker on a modded car with more demand for fuel.
