yea so i took my tranny (evo 8) to these guys at the shop to replace the clutch and the synchros. apparently they needed a 3rd gear and they charged like 1500 for a new one. thats retarded. so i looked on craigslist, bought a new tranny for evo 9 and they put a new clutch in and threw it in the car. now it wont go into gear. and seeing as i dont have money to pay them to take the tranny out i will bring the car home and take the tranny out myself. does ANYONE have any schematics of the tranny or tips on how to take it out?! ive never done this before, but i cant afford to have someone else do it :/ HELP!!!

Good luck this sucks without a lift and an extra 2 other people. My wife and I did it but sucked, it was my first evo tranny.

 

I know it sounds simple, but have you tried adjusting your clutch pedal? Not saying that's the problem...just have known other people that ran into it
