does anyone else have this problem?

small and unimportant to some/most but the lighting behind most of my instrument controls have burned out.. the bulbs are so tiny and are all special order from dealership and expensive. some of which you have to buy the whole unit.
does anyone have this same problem? my car is a 2003 so more specifically what i'm talking about is the little lights behind the fog light button, intercooler sprayer button..etc.. any thoughts or ideas?

I would like to know also. I have an 03 as well and kinda the same problem except they come on when they want to. Maybe a short? My problem is in the clock and hvac controls they work when they want. Nothing major but still annoying.

I had to replace all the lights in my gauge cluster on my old 03 a long time ago. IIRC they changed the bulbs over the years the newer ones have a blue base I think and the older ones were grey. I replaced all of them and never had issues again. Not ever sure if these are the lights you are talking about. But I do remember seeing somewhere they bulbs burning out on 03s were somewhat common

I am going back about 4-5 years on this though so I can barely remember if they were special order. So I am no help I guess lol

If you just have to replace the bulbs etc. check on mitsubishiparts.com. At least it won't cost as much as the stealership.
