i have, you can get some kyrlon translucent paint + clear coat or the jdm tail paint, there are a few others you can get from paint stores as well. not sure if anyone here paints them besides evodave, i can do them if you want as well. shoot me a pm for more info

What are you looking to do to them?
These are some we completed for a customer, he wanted them as dark as possible since it will be pretty much a track only Evo:

Do you bake the tailights or cut them open to paint the inside?

those look good but i dont want em that dark, mine is a daily driver. i like the jdm look with the orange/amber piece in the bottom but they are expensive. my car is silver so i want darker taillights.

eBay Depo's if you are in a rush. I know a couple of people that have them.

I painted mine using krylon stained glass paint. Had to get rid of the ugly stock look. All you have to do is tape off the bottom turn singnal mark. Here is what they will look like..this is when my car was silver.

baking does no good for the tails as you actually have to cut the clear plastic piece off... I tried cutting them with a sharp exacto knife but that did not work. I used the dremel way and it takes patience but it pays off and its much cheaper than even the EBAY Depos... here are some pics.

the finished product

here is the paint I used

This takes patience. There is a thread on under the how to section. Its the one with the Dremel tool...

Also: Just a NOTE, If painting your tails all red, you will have to modify the wiring for your reverse lights. Remember, your reverse lights are now RED, no one will know you are backing up!!
